Terrorists tracked Toronto El Al crews

Unity Coalition for Israel: The alert level has been raised for Israelis in Canada after it was discovered that a terror cell was following and carrying out surveillance on El Al crews staying in a hotel in Toronto, Channel 2 reported Wednesday.

Palin meets AIPAC, voices support for "special friendship" of US, Israel

Israel Insider: Senator McCain's running mate in the US presidential election, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, met with the board of directors of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee on Wednesday and expressed her admiration for Israel. A campaign official would not say who asked for the meeting, but said it was geared towards putting the American Jewish community at ease over her understanding of US-Mideast relations.

Jews peeved about Palin's pastor and his Jews for Jesus guest preacher

Israel Insider: Some Jews are concerned about Sarah Palin's membership in a church whose pastor makes anti-Jewish statements and invites the Jews for Jesus head to speak from his pulpit. The sermon praised efforts to convert Jews to Christianity, and blamed Jews for terrorism. Palin's spokesman admitted she was in the pews, but said the candidate disagreed with his messages, which he said was atypical of the church's usual Sunday fare.

Female Soldier Asks Forgiveness of Gush Katif Expellees

Israel Hasbara Committee: Many soldiers who took part in the Gaza Disengagement are still guilt ridden three years after they were ordered to dismantle Gaza's Jewish communities. One soldier takes the plunge and writes a letter of forgiveness to all those whom she forcibly removed from their homes. It remains to be seen how the evacuees, many of whom will be scarred for life, will react to this show of regret.
